Diabetes Camp
Summertime means Camp at the American Diabetes Association!
The American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Camps provide a special time for kids with diabetes — one of the best times of the summer and one campers always remember.
Register for an American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes Camp and enjoy meeting and having fun with other kids living with diabetes.
Check out Camps in your area and in other states. Every Camp is a little different but all have sports, arts and crafts and other fun activities!
Discover that you are not alone
Often children with diabetes feel like nobody understands how they feel or know what it’s like to live every day with diabetes.
At Camp, meet and learn from other kids and adult counselors with diabetes who:
- Listen to you and understand first-hand what it’s like to live with diabetes
- Share their strategies for coping with diabetes management and learn about their day-to-day triumphs and challenges
- Inspire you with their accomplishments at school, in sports and at work
- Help you make new friends and develop your own lifelong support system so you never face diabetes alone
